Love on a physical level

We all know love as something that happens within. Often compared to chemistry or a chemistry reaction, love can also be physical. And I'm not talking about sexual love either.

When you see someone hot, is there not the inevitable "whoaaa", the excitement that starts in the bottom of your belly, the tingle we feel running through our body.

When we see our crush, is there not the coldness that runs through your veins "paralysing" you if he speaks to you, the pangs your heart makes, like waves that form when you skim a pebble, the slight contractions of your heart that causes a sudden breathlessness.

When you're with your significant other, does your heart not feel waves? Waves of love gushing over your heart, spilling out into your soul. Waves of pain when he does something to hurt you, a cramp so severe that it clenches your whole body. Waves of panic when you realise how important he is to you and how, no matter what, you never want to lose him. Your heart emits a ripple effect.

When you've had a breakup, that's when you can really feel the pain of love. It's a tight, clenching pain, it feels like you're being stabbed in the stomach again and again. The expression "your heart is crushed" literally feels like a crumpled piece of tissue. Pain flares everywhere from your jaw, to your neck, to your limbs. Everything else feels numb. Especially your heart.

I am no expert and I would like to hear your opinion on this post. What are your thoughts on this? Did I miss something out that you think I should have most definitely included? Leave me a comment, drop me a message. As always, think with your mind, live to your heart's desire and love wholeheartedly with your soul.

Lots of Sugar,
Nicabeth
